March 15, Kathmandu- Six houses have been completely destroyed in a fire that broke out in Dhikpur village of Lamahi Municipality-6 of the district. The fire started from the house of local Valiram Chaudhary on Monday and spread to five other houses in the village. Local Ram Bahadur Chaudhary informed that the fire spread quickly due to the thatched roof.

The fire has been brought under control with the help of locals, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and fire brigade.

Details of the damage are being collected, said Puran Malla, Deputy Inspector at Lamahi Ward Police Office.
