March 17, Kathmandu- A man has been arrested on charges of misusing social networks like Facebook, WhatsApp, e-Sewa, and IME Pay Wallet.

Arrested one is Ranjit Yadav, 23, of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-3, Morang. By a police investigation, it is concluded that he is claiming that he is a U.S. citizen to the victim.

According to the police, the victims were tricked into depositing money in the temptation of delivering various electronic goods to Nepal by talking to various people through social media.

Yadav was arrested by the Joint Police from Lalitpur Metropolitan Police and District Police Office, Morang.
