March 20, Kathmandu - A volcano has erupted in the southwestern part of the Island capital, Reykjavik.
According to the Island Meteorological Department, the volcano erupted in Fagradalsfal on the Rikins Peninsula. The locals have been warned that large stones and rocks could come and even landslides could occur.
There have been more than 50,000 earthquakes in the region in the past three weeks. A volcano has erupted in the area now.

But this time, it is estimated that a large amount of ash and smoke will not come out of the Fagradalsfal volcano.
The volcanic eruption has been confirmed since Friday evening, according to the Island Meteorological Department.
The area where the volcano erupted is 30 kilometers from the capital. Coastguard helicopters have been sent to the area for the survey.
